Bournemouth Meet Midweek
#1
I know you guys are looking to organise a weekend meet but, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a mid week meet at a suitable pub? I am new to the area, wanted to come along to the rolling road meet, but unfortunately couldn't due to my house move being onthe same day.
I was thinking of th Woodman on Poole Road at Branksome as it has a large carpark, a good choice of beers, pool tables etc.
Suggestions alternatives greatly invited

Shaggy,
Would be up for something - Well volunteered!
Woodmans OK, I could just about walk home from there
I've just moved too so my place is in chaos, just moved from Poole to Westbourne. I moved out of my place on the w/e of the RR so your's is a poor excuse
What car you got?

Well everyone, I must say that I'm impressed with the response. Unless everyone can't make the day shall we meet at The Woodman, Poole Road at 8pm on Wednesday 17th October. There's heaps of parking next door in Bowlplex as well.
Maybe someone could post up a map for those who don't know where it is. See you all on the 17th!!

Rich
I was trying to slip in the shop without you noticing me, had to go and pick up my supermoto wheels for my WR426.
I'll try and make it on the 17th just to prove that I've still got the scoob!!
cheers m8

Do you guys/girls? meet often? always in the same local?
Changing the subject completely... can anyone recomend someone
local to service grey imports?

RichieD,
I have experienced a few problems trying to get someone who I feel I can trust to service my STi locally.
I don't trust Hughes (used them for a 6k and they were less than helpful), I am not sure about Eclipse (staff turnover seems high although the facilities are good), I have gone further afield,The two places I have used and been impressed with are Roger Clarks (Leicester) and Barretts of Canterbury.
I always combine a service with an overnight stop at some poor sods house
Who do you use at the moment? What model do you have?

This could be a long story.. but i'll keep it short!!
I'm in the process of buying a MY99 WRX (4 door), so i'm
vvverrryy new at this game!
The car has been serviced previously at Park Lane in Alton,
I was just hoping there was someone good and reliable locally.

So whos going? Are we all going to be wearing a carnation and holding a copy of the FT?
I'll be wearing a yellow jacket and drinking lager like its going out of fashion. Only living a mile away makes the temptation too much

Yeah - I'm coming along - probably bringing a friend too.
Just got my first Scoob (silver MY99) and loving it - not least 'cos I'm only 22!
Have only just registered with Scoobynet, but been following the board for a couple of months while finding the right car.
