As I sitting at my desk a little bit W@nkered at the moment and thoughts of more duff beer are taking over I have come to the conclusion there is an alternative option for tomorrow. We hire a transit mini bus, that proceeds to pickup all 23 people and their guests, interesting in an 8 seater, we goto tuning japenese rolling road the transit 23 times and then go for beer and a night club and get home sunday afternoon. This way we all get a rolling road chart saying we produce 32 bhp, and have a good evening.
Comments welcome (only constructive mind you)

Now I don't know where the nearest place is but if anyone knows i'll be happy to organise it. With mine & so many other Scoobs in the area being modified I think it would be a very good idea to be able to get the best from them.
We'll see what the interest is like first.

Maffa,
Nick all my ideas why don't you?
We've(Sussex Massive) been thinking about this for a bit, will have a chat with the noisy one above and see what we can thrash out.
Any ideas/recomendations welcome
Who's interested?
Iain.

Well looks like the interest is there now all I need to do is find the nearest place that could do it. If anyone knows of a place before I start searching the net I would be grateful.

KimA cool, what downpipe you going for then?
As for RR, would love to finally get the blackbeast on a set of rollers to find out exactly how underpowered it is
would be good if it could be after 20th october though, as I'm in the usa until then, so getting over to a RR would be a tad difficult, though I guess suzy could always take the beast to one? hmm, that might be cool

lol @ Disco . Yeah am thinking about the Link now but can't afford it yet. Once year-end overtime kicks in then thats a different story .
Maffa, after the IOW trip (20/10) would be handy for me too.

Guys,
I'm glad of such a rapid response from so many people. I'll definately make it after the IOW trip as it is just in the preliminary stages of organisation.
Col,
I'll give Power Engineering a bash & see how they compare as Uxbridge isn't that far either.
Disco,
When are you getting the work done coz after what you've told me i'd love to see the results from your car as well.
I'll keep you all posted.

I have had a reply from Tuning Japanese which looks pretty good as it works out at £40.00 per car (Normally about £65.00). Have a read of the following & let me know what you think:
We would be more than happy to host the event. The charge for the day is
800.00 Plus VAT. This enables a total number of cars for testing around 20.
By other peoples standards/charges this may initially appear high, however
if you want a fully professional, high quality facility, well run top class
event, then we do not feel we can be beaten. (see Redline magazine,
September issue & Japanese Performance October issue : Skyline rolling road
day feature). We have also run several events for the Mitsubishi Lancer
Register.
We offer at least two runs per car, correctly strapped down, monitors for
EGT, Tailpipe samples through a 5 gas analyser, Boost pressure, Torque,
Flywheel output & power at wheels. Our fully trained staff are on hand to
discuss your power readings, modifications and offer advice on tuning &
suspension set ups. We stock an impressive range of tuning components, with
special discounts on the day.
Each driver will recieve a Tuning Japanese Dyno Day T shirt, with an
exclusive logo, complete with a wallet containing your print out and
calibration certificate (for our 4WD dyno).
Food and canned drinks are on sale from around 11.00. (Free tea and
coffee).
Obviously this means that only 20 cars can be included so it would be on a first come first serve basis. I will await the Power Engineering reply & see how that compares.

Maffa, I'm planning the mods for end Oct/early Nov so around then would be nice
Its not a problem if it turns out before the mods though as I would still like to do a before/after thing.
Cheers
Disco
Edited to add that the venue seems OK, they certainly replied quickly!

Maffa, dont speak to tuning japanese without speaking to me first, I have a cunning plan.
I know Tim and Ike the owners very well as my car has spent lots of time there, i tried to set one up there last year but everyone moaned that the cost at the time (£30 a car then) was £5 more than powerstation, although i know which was nearer, you'd have lost the fiver on petrol !
So after it degenerated into a slagging match it never happened.
However i do know that they are keen to stage an event like this and im sure i can beat the price down as £40 sounds steep to me, was £25-£30 at last powerstation day i went to a few months ago.
(tho bear in mind tuningjapenese normal labour rate is £50 an hour !!!)
Also I happen to know that tuningjapanese held a lancer register event a few weeks ago for £25 per car!!
My car was dyno'd there last year and had a VERY low reading, tho was a very hot day and i wasn't running possum at the time as it had just been rebuilt, came out at 265bhp for sti5 with ss downpipe, hks mid + rear and blitz induction kit.
I was quite disapointed at the time.
I've managed to the MLR post about there tuning japanese day, i've copied there post onto here for you -
_____________________________________________
* minimum two power runs per car
* comprehensive graph plotting power curve, torque curve, maximum boost, as well as
exhaust and oil temps, etc.
* T-J staff on hand to explain the graphs
* prize for highest power figure of the day
* 5% discount on all parts ordered on the day; T-J stock upgrades from HKS,Mongoose, Trust, Apexi to name a few!
* 10% discount on parts if you've spent your hard-earned elsewhere and your car doesn't perform as expected (see Tim @ T-J on the day)
* free tea and coffee throughout the day
* catering on site for snacks
* other freebies
* Tim is also quietly confident they'll be able to cure any little niggles your car may be suffering from, so although the day is primarily aimed at power runs, they'll delve a little deeper if time allows!
Just to make it a little more interesting we've invited the GTO boys and girls along too - nothing wrong with a little friendly Mitsubishi rivalry!
Cost for a place on the day is only £25.

Had a reply from Power Engineering. £45.00 a head but they can accommodate up to 30 cars.
Kim - No problem
Pete - will speak to you later
Disco - Don't know if I can wait that long as the downpipe will be on tommorrow. Just have to see what the bookings are like.

No probs, I'd like a 'before' mods anyway.
PE would be quite good, as they do so many scoob runs they have a good idea of what your car should be doing etc, and can isolate any probs quite well too.

Haven't had the chance to drive it yet although I'm told it's improved However, I can tell you that it makes a nice whooshing sound
