I'll probably just see you guys in the pub down there Friday, going after work and the traffic has died down a little. Make sure you dont go down the M3, much better (more fun/less traffic) to take the A3/A31 as far as Winchester.
Looking forward to it wheeeeeeee!
Any spare Motorala handsets around?

Don't know what time Friday I'll be leaving Kent, hopefully around 6 or 7 so should be down there around 8 or 9 depending on traffic!
I was thinking of buying a couple of Motorola radios but haven't got round to it yet. Is anyone else going to be using them?
I'm looking forward it, should be a fun weekend.

Chuck hit the nail on the head with that statement
the A31 is a fantastic road all the way from Guildford until it rejoins the M3. Some lovely twisties, can't recommend it enough , and its usually pretty quiet coz everythings on the M3. Haven't been down it in the Scoob yet (hopefully when we come down to join you sat morn at the docks) but drove it loads in my 306 GTi-6 and it was great

Gary,
We're aiming to leave home by 1900 (but knowing us it'll be more like 2000!). Might be best if we meet everyone in the pub, assuming it's not closed by the time we get there

I shall be there on the Friday night, travelling from Swindon down.
I took half a days leave to allow me time to enjoy the drive and relax a bit!
I got one of the last rooms.... mmm smoking double! Great what with me trying to give up and everything!
