Jordan here I come!

SUCCESS!
In four weeks' time I shall be working for the Jordan Formula 1 team, as a Control Systems Engineer. I'll be doing software and hardware stuff for the cars, including development and support both at the races and the testing. Should be fun
Big thanks to those who've wished me well and good luck through the interviews etc. Cheers guys - drinks on me at the next Cambridge meet (Grahame?)...

Nice one Richard.
Looks like your company car could be reasonably rapid.
I still can't believe that my brother turned down the opportunity to join Prodrive when he decided to leave Jaguar a few years ago. Typical engineer - no foresight, unlike us bean counters

Well done, Richard
Now we need to organise a Cambridge meet so that we can all wish our bestest friend good luck in his new endeavours
I propose next week, say Tuesday 31 July. That gives us less than a month to get the pit pass allocation sorted out.
Who's up for it?
Grahame

ScoobyChick... I met you (very briefly) at the karting last weekend... I was occasionally up on the balcony talking to Carolyn T-S and a few others... had a silver digital camera... You'll remember me from now on though

Congratulations you must have gone through the mill to get a job working for them
Remember your old kart team buddies when the freeies are available, a visit to a testing day would be nice
Regards
Yex
