SE Meet (Canterbury) 27th May
#1
Hi All,
Canterbury meet is this Sunday.
The venue is the same as last time at the Griffins Head in Chillenden where there will be a barecue on outside as well as food inside. Once again the car park will be closed off just for scoobs.
To make it easy for those travelling down for this we'll be meeting at the little chef in harbledown and travel in convoy to the pub.
To get to the little chef take the A2 turning signposted Canterbury/Dover off the M2 and approximately 2 miles down on the left is a petrol station with a little chef on it. We'll be waiting here from 12.00-12.15 and then make our way to the pub for 12.30ish.
If you're interested in coming please put a post up so we can warn of numbers and if you have any probs please e-mail me.

Hi NITO,
I've got some friends coming down for the weekend so may not be able to make it. I will see if they fancy a trip out to a country pub for Sunday lunch and if so I will go directly to the Griffin's.

Hi All,
Please note I have edited the instructions above: It should have been Take the 3rd exit after Canterbury - B2046 (not, as I posted, the 2nd), The 1st exit is still for Bridge.

A Big Thankyou to everyone for turning up and making this another excellent meet. A special thanks to all the Surrey boys (and gals) for making the effort to trek down and join us.
It was an excellent turn-out considering it was the second time its taken place. 17 cars in total including 2 mandatory 22B's and 2 P1's. Hope you guys enjoyed your drive home we could hear you from the pub
Hope to see you all next time,
Thanks again

Nito,
Thanks for organising this. Our first time at the Canterbury meet and we had a great time. Lovely location - good of the landlord to block off the car park for us all, and a great BBQ to top it off.
Sorry we missed the Little Chef convoy - came up on us a bit too quickly
Thanks also to AndyO, Mark & Annabelle, Ronnie & Bianca (RICKIII!), and Rob & Hazel for convoying down there with us - it was fun.

Nito,
Thanks for organising a top meet. It's a brilliant pub and worth the hour and half drive from Surrey!!
Sorry I didn't chat to everyone, as anyone who knows me I get distracted easily!! Hmmm.... BARBEQUE!!!
I couldn't believe you convinced the landlord to shut down the car park for JUST Subaru owners!!
Cheers
Andy

We had a great afternoon, thanks for making us feel welcome on our first meet..
As predicted, It's resulted in me having idea's such as downpipe and mid section, I was behind Greg's P1 as he pulled out the little chef! it rips.!
See ya'll at the end of July as a trip to Cyprus means I'll miss the next one..
