**CORNWALL/DEVON Evening pub meet**
Its been a long time since we had one of these, so how about it you lot, what about Wednesday 18th August? Meet at 7pm Carkeel Services Esso garage? Then onto the Crooked Spaniards for something to eat, with a bit of luck it might even be nice and sunny! Nice relaxing chat by the river!

Make haste, for there is only one day to go untill the evening pub meet, apparently I heard someone mention that Nigel Mansell would be there that night, he is meant to be giving a talk and slide show on golf, and about some of his greatest & longest putts, including a demonstration of his special curly wurly putting style.
Could be interesting to the golfers amoungst us!
Its just something I heard tho, so I could wrong!

Can I just say it was great of Nigel to turn up, it was a really informative evening, I never realised how difficult it was to hold a golf club properly. Thanks Nigel. Look forward to that pitch and putt day you are organising.
Nigel aside what a fantastic evening, good food, great company = great evening!
Will post details of the next great event being organised soon! Any sugestions who we can invite as our guest speaker?

A brilliant evening thanks guys and girls, looking forward to the barby, I am away 10th - 24th august so so long as the date does not change from 29th Me and the mrs will see you there.
