- - South Hants Meet, 12th July, Eastside - -
Hello all!
'tis that time again (already?! ) for a south hants meet.
Now - appologies first of all, I've moved out this month and am soooooo tired and stressed so havn't had a chance to sort out a pub for this month's on-tour. So as I see it we have 4 options:
* The Seagull (Cornaway Lane, Portchester, PO16 9DB, Map HERE ), our "usual" Eastside pub
* The Churchillian (Widley Walk, Portsdown Hill, PO16 3LS, Map HERE ), whilst the weathers good...and yeah, ok - I want a burger!
* The Seven Stars Inn (Winchester Road, Petersfield, GU32 3PG, Map HERE ), Our last "on-tour" pub, I missed it and I love this pub, so I thought I'd add it in as an option
* The Fox Inn (Fox Lane, Bramdean, SO24 0LP, Map HERE ), another A272 pub - we've used this for meets before but the car parks a little small - but again, a nice pub and a good drive
SOOOOOOOOOoo one vote each, just write the name of your chosen pub in your post below and whichever one is in the lead by 12pm Thursday is the one we'll be going to (Yes, I'm too tired to make a decision ).
I promise we'll do more things when I'm all sorted, sorry for the lack of summer events. Btw, also see post in the southern section about the rally day - can't miss that one!
Jen

But I will be back bigger and better than ever

...well, 6 for the Seven Stars v's 3 for the Pompey ones - so looks like we're heading to the Seven Stars.
Sorry Steve/Mark/Jas, hope you guys can still make it On-tour over Southampton side next month so that should be nearer

Anybody interested in a Scoobysport up pipe made by Hayward and Scott. Like new condition and has got an exhaust temp probe hole. This is the early solid type up pipe which replace the first cat on bug eyes and also the poor excuse of an up pipe fitted to classic's, just ask Jim his fell in half when we took his engine out
Got to be worth £50 to someone.

We've also got a standard Subaru downpipe in the shed, and for some reason the centre section has also appeared - if anyone wants them hopefully Chris will be along
Sadley Mark and Rach have taken my Disco away to be fixed, so I have no transport I'm destined never to go to a meet at my favourite pub!! Oh well.
Let us know and have a good one

P.S. Jay - no sign of those headlight protectors - but I have another idea, sadley that box is in Kent! Will get them to you soon

How about a 'hardly used' Green air filter element in original packaging for £25 ? (can't use the original air box on mine now due to the front mount).
Fits all classics and bug eyes apparently.

Should be comming tonight. Are us Westsiders meeting at PC World/Homebase carpark like usual?
Gahhh, nooo stop tempting me with a boost gauge. After one like that but due to the current work situation Im not allowed to spend any money on the Scoob.
ps. does it require any other bits to get working, or does it plug straight into the diag port?

I should be there tonight, but I'll probably make my own way there as I don't want to hold you guys up, or cover your cars in soot
Think you have to "plumb" these in.....
