not a meet, just want Essex info
Is the entertaining night at Southend just on a Friday and Saturday?
Because of moving away, I lost touch and only get to 'sarfend' about once a year.
I will be coming back home on Saturday but after the pod I might be too tired to then drive on to Southend. I wondered if it was worth visiting on a Sunday? (will the arcades be open?)
(Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place, but thought it was the best way to reach the south essex crew.)

Nicci ... Saturday nights in Southend are crazy. At about 10:30pm it can take anywhere up to 45 minutes to go from the Westcliff Casino up to where the arcades finish. Loads of mental motors etc. Bars/Clubs are heaving also!
Sunday the arcades are open but pretty much empty (unless it's a bank holiday weekend). Churchills Bar in the town centre gets pretty busy on a sunday night - place to be on a sunday! no cruise scene really apart from the die hards though.
Saturdy night is the night to be out on, whether cruising or clubbing!

Lol - It's the saxo and ford Ka cru's now. 
Three Shells dohnuts are still going strong. the original and the best!
If the weather is nice then it get's mental all the way down from the Westcliff Arches to where the Kursaal is. After the police start breaking ***** people head off to Basildon and then to the Thurrock dragstrip - serious muscle cars down there!
