Cool Bracknell Meet 24th June

OK, as no-body else has started a thread yet I'd better get one underway.

I have spoken to Brett and Angie about the idea of having a BBQ and it's a goer. The food will be purchased on a per burger, sausage and chicken drumstick basis and if you want anything like chips as a side order then you simply purchase these as normal from behind the bar. The cost will be no more than £2 per item for the BBQ stuff.

Post up here if you are interested in the BBQ idea as I can then let Brett and Angie know a rough guideline figure.

Lets hope this good weather holds up and that we can all sit outside again.

See you there,

Scott and Nice

(BTW can you believe that it has been 2 years since we got married? )

I'll come if anyone has an in-car camera mount I can borrow for this Thursday? (17TH June)

I may also mention it to "the Pub Car park Exhaust swopping king" Just to keep the number of sports at these events high!!!

Nexuas, I don't have a camera mount I'm afraid - you doing a track day then?

As for the number of sports in the car park, this could well out number the volume of turbo's there. I'm thinking about going by bike, so that would be one less turbo there.

Yep, going on a sport only track day at Curborough on Thursday, and was going to see if I could get some in car video?

Actually we have one space left, £35 for unlimited runs throughout the day, Max 10 cars. so should be worth the money. Anyone intrested? Can be a turbo, just leave the turbo snobbery at the gate!!!

I would have attended but they quite often have a noise limit and somehow I don't think I will pass!

quoted from the rules

Cars must be silenced to MSA regulations

However I have no idea what that regulation is, and we have free reign of the track, so no one will be there with a noise meter. We are just hiring the track for the day and can run the event how we choose.

I will see if I can dig out a thread from when some scoobynetters went there last.

lol!

Nexaus I'm not sure about J TBH, he might do. As for noise regulations, you will be surprised. A friend of mine went to Goodward a little while ago for a track day and got black flagged for being half a decibel too loud. Apparently they have different noise regulations depending on the day! Go figure that one out!
