I didn't watch the racing much, I was helping my mate sort his car out when he'd done a run
saw two nice scoobies drifting off the start line, the track was utter crap sunday

is that the one that did a 12.8 something? my mate beat that, just, with a 12.81
the 60ft times of the day must have been crap for everyone, they were four hundreds of a second out from the last time we run the car
Do you go to the pod regularly?

£40 standard 8 valve cavalier sri block with calibra turbo pistons, t34 garret, autronic + 50bhp nitrous, his best is a 12.4, if you were there it was the blue nova
Chungster, do you know the scooby owner who did the 12.8? I saw the car in the queue, very nice piece of kit

thats the one, they are only 15" alloys but the hoosier tyres help a bit still, they were no wider than the 360 modena's tyres that he pulled 4 hundreds of a second on
hopefully the track will be much better next time, even with the hoosier's his 60ft times were down between 3 and 4 hundreds of a second from usuall
when are you lot going next? come say hi if you see us!
here is a video of the Novas[/url]

I was there and managed 13.43secs with a slippery clutch.
...Was v slippery strip....I simply couln't get a good launch as my rear wheels were trying to overtake the front wheels (causing a wagging tail).
Was a brillant day. Sorry didn't get round to meeting everybody, I was constanly in the queue for the strip.
I was in a UK V reg DBM Saloon with 03WRX 17"s.
