Right,
Finally got around to sorting a venue for the Feb meet, a bit different this one, still a Pub, but a tad harder to find, and a bit more rural than normal, and probably a slightly longer trip too.
So, the Pubs called 'The Cricketers' and it's in Shroton, north of Blandford, the postcode is DT11 8QD just in case you need a map!
The date will be Feb 2nd!

I'm away then so can't make it.
But I know a man who probably will - as it's just down the road and he's just (Sat) bought a Scooby again - PaulL ?
Enjoy

And another thing ....
I'd hoped to discuss good locations for viewing the Sunseeker Rally, around the Ringwood area or at Somerley. If anyone has any info it will be much appreciated. I've missed this somehow on previous years.
Possibly arrange a meet ?

I met PaulL about 4 years ago when I was waiting to get my Scoob, he was god enough to take me for a spin in his!!
Had a mail from him not that long ago saying he may buy another Scoob, and he lives up that way somewhere too! so may see him??

Ron
I used to work with PaulL, but recently through discussions of Scoobies have been back in touch. I mentioned that you normally arrange the local meets, and he told me he knew you and had taken you out for a spin some time ago.

John, could you speak up a little, I'm a little hard of hearing.
All those years of driving round with a Blitz might have something to do with it.

Ok, I get myself Scoob-ed up again and straight away there's a local meet a couple of miles up the road from me (even the same post code!). What are the chances of that! Nice one Ron!
Dunno what the pub's like though - not tried it yet.

Right guy's and gal, got my car back, and all is well again, no stone chips, and no big dent in the bonnet!!
Would you believe though, the bill was very nearly £1,600!!!!!
Not much more would have needed to be done, and they'd write these things off, bear in mind that the hire car for three weeks is well over a grand too!!
See ya next week!
7.30-8pm!

DavidB,
you're more than welcome to come, the whole idea of having a roaming meet is to attract different faces every now and then, not sure if Dean's coming, he might!

SG,
WHY??
I've been using Tesco's fuel since day one!
The time I did try Optimax, the car hated it, didn't run well, and didn't perform correctly, so back to cheapo tesco's!!
Map here!!
