Are they anything to do with our old friends Crossrods (who did good work for me, despite their other problems?). I'd be interested - I'm in Chi too.

North Motor Co were set up a few years ago by 2 of the Mechanics who were trained by Crossroads & go right back to when Tom Airey owned the Garage, for those younger ones who dont remember him he was British & I think European Rallycross champion.
Crossroads were bought out & apeared to go into decline & when the garage moved to Petersfield they set up on their own.
They have IMO a very deserved good reputation, I used them for a couple of years with my STI3 & they have sinse done the "non franchised" work on the Octy 4x4.
Because of their reputation they are always busy so you need to book early.
Needless to say coming from a Subaru dealer they are fully trained on Scoobs & have the proper tools!!, they also run a Legacy Twin Turbo as one of their own cars
