Hello - I am right in the town centre by the county ground
There are not that many scoobs in Swansea - might see 1 in a day but they are so popular here!!!
Are there many meets or runs round wiltshire's twisty roads?

I don't know of any local meets, but then again i've only had mine just over a month now. There's a thread on here about a Jap car meet in Reading (M4 J11) on the 14th which i might go to.
I passed the County Ground about an hour ago, chaos on the magic roundabout today!

Dude! I may have spotted you today at lunchtime. Was it you who followed me round the magic roundabout and part of the way down fleming way (turning off just before B&Q). It was a green classic with a big wing and square front number plate...
I was in the dark blue mica MY99 with the oval WRSport exhaust.

Cool, you're the 1st Scoobynetter i've spotted out and about.
If you'd got a bit closer you'd notice its pretty dirty up the sides. I washed it just over a week ago but it looks like it needs washing again after about a day in this weather.
I couldn't make out much detail on your in the rear view mirror, other than the Jap spec plate on the front and a higher than standard rear wing. Looked very nice though.
I was just sneaking into town on my lunch break!

I see quite a lot of Scoobs round Swindon and I wave a lot but very rairly get a responce - normally just a puzzled "do I know you?" look.
Got a wave from a P1 last week on Drove Road though, and now "spotted" by you so I cant complain

To be honest i rarely wave, i sometimes do if it's another classic and they wave first.
Before the Scooby i had an army Land Rover for 18 months and used to get Landy enthusiasts waving at me almost every time i went anywhere. Most of them seemed to be flat cap wearing, pipe smoking old geezers too!
Gets a bit embarrassing when your (fit female) passenger asks, "do you know all of these people or are all Land Rover drivers really sad?".
Heh heh

'ere don't I know you from somehwere. Your car looks familiar. Don't like the way you look your eyes are too close together...
You have not let them know the secret yet have you boy. You know the one about the spec of your car. Are you waiting for the first traffic light grand prix so you can show them what you are really made of?

Just seen the post, Just outside Swindon on M4 side, will look out and wave, MY00 dark blue. If you fancy some fun through the summer last year I competed in an auto test and this year will be doing some 12 car rallies.
PS 3 Scoobies in my area and 5 at work
Look to wave

Dude are you based at STC or just there for a visit?
Was really suprised to see the car in the car park. Very distinctive and I recommend ditching the kiddie seat when going for a meet
Cheers

I am working there this week - not sure how much longer after that - depends what other work comes up for me.
As for the kiddie seat - yeah, it does get ditched (along with the kiddie) at my mums when I go on meets! LOL

I'm over in Upper Stratton (Highworth side of Swindon) with my 02 Uk STi (see here for pics). And yes, I always wave so I'llkeep my eyes peeled
It's about time we had another Swindon meet. The last one I managed to go to was about 3 years ago
