OK.
Rayleigh is out then this year due to a few dissapointed people (Me included) Plus, outdoor Karting is a lot more fun, if a tad expensive for a once a month venue.
Anyway, Good old Mark has mentioned Kings Cross. Could you get prices Mark? There is also a Karting venue on the M20 thats looks quite good. I will enquire for that one.
Now. Who is up for a lesson?

i would suggest kings cross The Raceway tho.

Buckmore park i'd say is the best track in southern uk.

Don't like the sound of outside in January...! That's cold that is!

If there's no clash with the football I'll be wherever, whenever.

Have you guys considered doing a day on the Pilot's? I've done them before with work and they were great :-)

Thumbs up

Prob with outdoors in Jan is you cannot judge what the weather is going to be like - I do not wanna get soaked and cold because it takes the fun out. For 30 dabs Rayleigh is a pukka venue.

There will always be controversy with a bunch or dirty b.stard racers like us lot. The marshalls have to watch every group as someone always gets rammed.

I think for winter at least we should keep on with Rayleigh.

Pilot's are those little go-kart buggy type things with roll cages on and you get a little dirt circuit with loads of bumps and ruts to rag it round. It's not head to head racing, usually two cars on track at same time (differnt start/finish line) and it's all done on times.
So there can't be any ramming!!!

But it's proper bumpy and aggressive - I loved it

it's already got the 'Pilot' sticker down the side. Just get Mark to do you up a few and then stick them on as you get into it

PMSL @ Tiny. Dont worry m8 as for sticking we are going to need a spatchelor to prise you out of that thing

Gangster you tart buy some kleenex and stop grizzling about the cold/rain. You missed a realy great night last week and none of us were cold. Tho I was a bit muddy but that'd another story

Outside inside who cares but lets get busy with the venue for the new year. The general consensus appears to be everyone apart from Gangsta would like a change from Rayleigh. So which is it to be?

Bayford
Buckmore
Kings Cross
Rye House

spoke 2 michael, who owns the raceway, he just happened to call about some work he wants done, anyway, mentioned to him that the scooby lot fancy a stint at his circuit

so he said get some numbers 2gether and he'll work something out.

he also mentioned that there is a EVO group going soon so maybe we can have a Scooby vs Evo show down

Scooby Evo showdown........Hmmmmmm now there's a thought.

I mean if Push came to shove and we did actually lose we could always resort to a Pile On in the Car Park...... We'd do them at that with out any worries.

Well I fancy Buckmore myself, but to be honest I don't mind when, I reckon the Karting tour of the south is a top idea, new circuits and different weather conditions are certainly a good leveller as Tiny Says..... Plus the fact that the drives there may prove a giggle aswell..... I'm trying to find one near Brighton that would give us the opportunity to for 20 Laps of the Culfail tunnel in Lewis.... Best God Damn acoustics of any tunnel I know.... And it's got a round about at each end... Oooooo the hours I've spent in there...lol.... Great day out for me.... Missus and kids get bored easy though...

Anyways....

I'm gunno plead the "Martini" on this one "Any time, Any place, Anywhere"......... (for those among us old enough to remember those adverts)

the drive there and back should be a good laugh if we do it with the Evo boys.

And I agree with Listy - let's just do them in the car park. There's always more Scooby owners than Evo's so we'll have no worries. And don't forget, most neutral's favour the Scoob
