Cambridge meet before or after New Year?

Hi all,
Seeing as this is one of the rare times I am back in the UK for a decent chunk of time, it would be great to meet up with people
.
So how about a good old-fashioned Old Skool meet at The Plough in Fen Ditton (north side of Cambridge)?
New people also very welcome, of course .
People expected
to be there (in no particular order) include Sal, Dave (ex-)Twin-Scoobs, Please Take My Wife, Mark Champion + blonde , Grahame, Stan + his Monster, oh you know, everyone .
I'm proposing either 30th December (a Tuesday) or 3rd January (a Saturday) in the afternoon, say from 2pm?
Let me know what you think. Then I can regail you all with my tales of woe and a blown engine, with a perfect echo coming from James...

Typical - one can do only the 30th, one only the 3rd

Would've done but having lashed out £36 for the (non-refundable)tickets - footy match! - I'm keen to make use of them.
Added to which my team - QPR - have at last strung some decent results together & after some long years of disappointment I need to enjoy the victories for as long as possible!!
My son's expecting to go to the match too, and although he enjoys being driven around in the Scooby, he's already professed Scooby meets to be 'boring'. Six year olds for you
