southsea cruise (pompey meet)

there seems to be a bit of interest for a cruise along southsea sea front,so lets put it together for a evening early in august,we could meet up at the view point car park on top of portsdown hill so if people wanna eat they can before we set off as the burgers are well pucker there,and then cruise down to the sea front,even have a play in the fair ground for the children amongst us (me included).

sounds like fun then perhaps we can go for a beer in the clarence after as it has a huge car park and is free after 6pm.Put me down for any day in august im sure i can accomodate.

LOL @ Steve,
Friday nights are fine as I usually leave Birmingham by lunchtime so me and scoob are usually home for 4.30 - 5 depending on traffic.
Sure fridays will be ok for Jen and Chris too.
8th should be quite good too as it's 2 weeks after the treasure hunt, what about a meeting place etc outside the city....say MaccyD's on the Airport Ind Estate, big car park next to the superstores etc.
What do you guys think??

Maccy d,s is a good meeting place then we can make our way down the eastern road towards southsea and a stop at the clarence seems a good idea for a drink

Got a Silver STI3 mate. I pick it up from the docks today (it's a Jap import by the way), so prob wasnt me you have seen.
Can't wait to pick it up! Waiting for the phone call to pick it up seems to have taken forever!!

I was sooooo tempted to get an import too for obvious reasons but decided I would play it safe (well safer!) for my first scoob by getting a UK car. STI type R for me next though.
Anyway hope the car is as good as expected. Have fun.
