East Sussex Scoobies July Meet
#2
I should think so.
This time we will need a devilishly good drive to entertain any visitors that we might encourage from other parts of this fair isle (West Sussex mostly).
Meeting in two parts?
First hour or so - for those who don't relish the thought of a gentle amble in the countryside, but who would wish to turn up and chat about Scoobs for an hour before going off to do the shopping, tend the wife, garden, etc, or fettle their gozzards in a creamy sauce.
Second period - gentle amble through the countryside, spotting examples of rare fauna and butterflies as we go. All this to a prescribed route contained on parchments to be distributed at the first par of the meeting. Then.....a sumptuous feast at a resting establishment (probably Beachy Head) where we can enjoy the bracing sea air and entertain more tails of derring-do and modifications.
When? We can do the 19th or 26th. The 26th would be the favoured choice, allowing more time for mods but the 19th is midway between the West Sussex meets. Whatever suits.

Yes Mark - but only ONE word.
Nathan - will we be able to organise maps of the route do you think? We don't want people exceeding speed limits trying not to lose the guys in front, when we get split at junctions, etc.

19th is a no go for me now as I've got to be at ScoobySport for 12:00 ...... cos I'm having the Group N+ Pagid Kit fitted
Thought long and hard about what brakes to go for, but Pete at SS did me a deal that I could not refuse. (thank you Pete)
I presume the brake kit will increase my 'mods' count?
Keith ... I know I should of waited to 'talk brakes', but I'm just impatient.

I'll throw a different angle on things then !! I'd prefer to go for 19th (N, will email later about the 26th ) but will go with the majority though may not be able to make the 26th if that's decided on.
N, is the offer of a run out one night open to all ? - quite fancy a gentle amble round the countryside one night Will mail you later in reply to yours.
