The sun is shining, the coke is gettiing warm - it must be time for another meet at the Plough, Fen Ditton
With the longest day just around the corner, who's up for a natter next to the Cam? Is this Thursday too soon ?(I'm away in Texas next week - yee ha!). If it is, howsabout the 1st or 2nd of July?
Cheers

I've mailed a few of the usual supects
Directions if anybody needs them
From the A14 Eastbound come off at the Fen Ditton turn-off (B1047 I think) towards Cambridge. After a couple of miles, in the centre of Fen Ditton, turn right (the Blue Lion pub will be on your left as you do so). Follow the road down for about 100 yards, then bear right at the War Memorial. Follow the twisty tiny road round for another 200 yds or so. There will be a sharp left, and then a bit further up the pub is on the left while the road continues round a bend to the right. Great venue...
From the A14 Westbound, come off at the A1303 exit bearing left towards Cambridge. Keep going straight over traffic lights etc until you see a traffic light junction with a right hand turn signposted Fen Ditton (I think it has it's own filter lane). Go right up there, and about 1 mile up there turn left at the Blue Lion pub and follow directions as above.

Mark emailed me but I cant make it - working Thurs night. Shame as I might not have the scoob for another meet. Work is relocating to Reading so looking for something a bit more practical.
The Plough is the best pub to be at this time of the year. Just take it easy on those female rowers
Simon.

Sorry, can't make it 800 miles is still too far to come .
However if anyway feels like organising a meet shortly after the British GP, I will be in the UK until the following Wednesday...
Have a good one!
Cheers

Hi guys,
I'll be moving to Cambridge from SW London in the next 2-3 months. Glad to see there is a Scooby community there and look forward to meeting you all. I can't make today's meeting I am afraid
In addition to the usual Scooby stuff I am very interested to get some info about Cambridge as I know nothing about the area (e.g. where to live, where NOT to live, traffic, etc). If you can help with some advice please e-mail me your contact details off line.
Many thanks!
Andrei
