Hi All,
Duracell (Colin) is busy with work at the moment so I thought I'd put a post up on his behalf.
Who fancies the first run out of the year for the Devon and Cornwall mob?
How about the Sunday's of 23rd, 30th March or 6th April.
And depeneding on who responds will decide which way we take the run, from Plymouth towards Exeter way or into Cornwall.
Post your preferences here, don't be shy we don't bite. It'll be good to see the old faces as well as the new ones that have been posting on SN recently from the area.
Simon, Have you got your STi8 yet? I hope so then we can all drool over it and spoil the polish
Cheers,
Grahame.

Hi Graham / guys,
Good to hear from you again.
I could possibly make the 23rd, definitely make the 30th, but not around on the 6th.
You'll all have to be gentle with me as I won't be able to go over 4000rpm
This is of course dependant on one small thing - actually having a car.
It is supposed to be turning up in the UK tomorrow and I'll hopefully be getting it towards the end of next week (Friday or Saturday). Iain Litchfield needs it for about a week to do all the work I want sorting before delivery - ECUTEK remap, exhaust, fuel pump, window tinting, change alarm system, fit MP3 player / amp / speakers, fit PSI3 data recorder (think that's about it).
Oh - and polish it!!
However, nothing ever seems certain or simple in this life. Spoke to Iain today and he hasn't been able to get hold of Subaru in Belgium to confirm that the car has actually left Europe yet. So God knows when it will actually turn up.
If I don't have the car would anyone fancy having a co-driver for the day???
Hope to see you all soon.
Take care
Simon
PS
Quite sad seeing my old car in those photos.

I expect I will be empty so there should be a spare seat in my car if the worse comes to the worse. This new car seems very tasty! Will it take away my crown of the fastest scooby in the group, remember pictures needed to verify!!!! 168 or above!!

Tris have you not got past 168 yet?? Light weight
Have a look HERE if you need some more power ideas
Simon, No problem as with Tris on the Co-driver seat, but please remember it's only a little old UK turbo
When you do eventually pick it up if you need a lift up then let me know as I am still gamefully unemployed, It'll be in Cheltenham won't it?
Did someone say Bumpsteer not for you for me maybe, well the car anyway
Cheers, Grahame.

OK,
So it's 9AM on Sunday 23rd.
We meet up at Sainsburys car park (far end), at Marshmills roundabout in Plymouth.
We'll probably head into Cornwall, maybe Bude way, put your thinking caps on.
Sorry Softwizz but the majority are either in Plymouth or Cornwall this time so it's logical to stay local and head into Cornwall.
Ian sorry you can't make 23rd but seems to be the best date for most. Of course non-turbos are welcome. Once our official organiser Duracell gets back in the driving seat I'm sure we'll have many more meets and runs over the summer. Are you going to Jap Fest, get a ticket it'll be a big one.

it's ok to bring missus if she is a scoobynutter too!
Simon, sorry to hear you havent got your car yet. If you still dont have it, or dont want to risk thrashing it, i think you should ride with scoobdoo as he could do with some extra ballast so us poor UK folks can keep up!

Being the new boy I have got to ask, whats at bude? Does anyone live there? How about Newquay or Peranporth for a spot of posing and being noticed, or do you not normally go that far?

I only mentioned Bude as the roads out that way are pretty good and not too busy, and there is a pub which does a good Sunday roast.
We have in the past headed out around the Camelford, Padstow, Bude way, but are open to new ideas.
As I said all have a think about places and routes for Sunday,
Cheers, Grahame.

Hello Everyone !
Long time No THREADS,No SEE in fact No NOTHING !!
As my Deputy"Springbok"has mentioned been busy with Baby & work & not so much"not allowed out"as 1 or 2 personal probs also, say no more.
Anyway, thanks to Springbok for tryin to rally the Cornwall/Devon Scoobies now that winter is slowly leavin us behind,i hope there will be a good turnout on Sunday,i may even be there myself??!!
As has been said before"we DON'T BITE" & the local/regional meets can only survive if You the Owners turn up.Last year we had some good get togethers aswell as our Big Southern meet at Longleat(which incidentally is featured in latest issue of BANZAI)thanks to Colin & his Purple Scoob !
As Cornwall/Devon covers a wide area its always difficult tryin to arrange meets to suit everyone & one of the thoughts ive had for some time is to find a pub somewhere central to us all where we could meet once a month,evening/weekend(obviously would have to be ok'd with Landlord)& socialise with our beloved"Scoobies"& discuss any ideas you may have.Would need reasonable car park & country pub would be nice for those summer days/evenings!!.If anyone has any thoughts please contact myself or Springbok.
I hope to see You all soon,Meantime...SAFE SCOOBY'N !
Regards Duracell
