Thinking of trying to organise something for later on this year....a weekend away along the lines of the successful I_O_W trips.
I have stayed at Mawgan Porth a few times (though not at this hotel itself) and it is close to all the popular tourist places i.e. Padstow and Newquay.
What do you all think of this place?

I am going to email them and ask them what their "best group booking" price would be and ask for a suggested weekend date.
Imagine the size of the convoy by the time we got to Cornwall if we picked up groups on the way down.........

Speaking as a man lumbered with sprogs I have to say nice choice of hotel, however you'd need to confirm it has a bar as nothing mentioned on the website
We'd be interested depending on date..have a few camping trips and an Alton Tower weekend to work around LOL

Talking to the manager this morning and should hopefully get an idea of price and a date. Aiming to get a low room rate as some of us will make up the bill in the bar!!!!!!!
