they have at least 4 prodrive tuned 4 door scoobs as well.
Two DGM ones
one DBM
one Red
Silver Evo 7 belongs to them
COMPLETELY unmarked new 911 turbo (patrols the A3) which is black & the driver is always in casuals.
Be carefull out there peeps

Just how authoritative is that 'C'? In my experience it's unlikely that a (in particular Home Counties) Force would invest in a total of 6 high performance Plain clothes cars (and their crews) (over and above the necessary marked Traffic Fleet) just for the purposes of nicking people speeding. I have a large pinch of salt to hand, unless you can quote some authority.....

I have seen the Silver and green scoobs. I doubt the 911 I must admit, unless it has come from a different source., Just not enough space in it for the gear they carry.

I would love to have been at the meeting when they deceided what to buy!
"oh yeah and we need a couple of Subaru's to catch the hot hatch brigade, an Evo to catch the Subaru's and a 911 Turbo to catch the Evo's"
I bet they can't wait to get up in the morning.

I work for vauxhall & previously used to be based in a dealership who service all the "jam sandwich" astra's speaking with a few traffic police they let things slip every now & again.
I have had it told to me by 3 differnt people about the 911.
Can get the reg's of the other cars with a little work *cough *cough

There is also a Black Evo 6 TM edition around the A264 A281 area that I have seen. If the sunlight is at the right angle you can see that blue lights in the front grill

Blue Lights behind the Grille does NOT necessarily mean "Plainclothes Traffic Car". For example, could be "Senior Officer's private car with tax reduction measures in place" Doesn't even have to be Police, I remind you!!

Between Hook/Chessington & Cobham, there use to be a 911 and that was replaced with a yellow M3. Although this was back in the day when that area was Met, since the reallocation of stations, that area has changed to Surrey Police (I know as I installed the servers at the stations)
I can well believe the use of performance cars down that stretch of the A3. From 50mph to 70mph, and no more speed cameras, there is always a big leap in speeds.
Not proud, but nearly 8 years ago, I caught doing 96.6mph up the A3 in a..... Volvo 340!!!!
