Good afternoon,
Hope you all had a good Xmas and have a good New Year!
As usual the Surrey meets will continue, although I'm thinking of changing the pub, or at least trying a new one for January.
Plan stays the same, well, sort of..
Newlands 1pm-2pm, then on to the pub, aiming to be at the pub around 2:30-3pm.
More details to follow about the pub, but I would suggest the Moore Hen Pub in Pirbright (sp!). I will sort out directs soon.
Rgds, Alex
Newlands Corner:
Directions to Newlands Corner.
M25 J10 for the A3
Head Southbound towards Guildford
Take the first exit off the A3 (Ripley/Send)
Take the second exit off the roundabout towards Ripley
Head down this road until there is a Shell petrol station on the left
At the roundabout take the first exit
Follow until you get to traffic lights for a big crossroads
Go straight over the Epsom Road
Newlands Corner is on the right at the top of the hill
Hope you all had a good Xmas and have a good New Year!

i will be there !
while we are being contraversial ! How about changing the date of either Surrey or Sussex so they are not in following weekends !
Its good to see the same guys 2 weeks running but then dont see them for 2-3 weeks !
how about spacing the meets ?
Ok back to sleep now before i get abused for even suggesting such a thing !

Will be at Newlands, the house move permitting. I know my geography is cr*p but I think Pirbright might be a reasonable distance further than the current pub (might be wrong, perhaps it just seems that way cos of A3 being a boring fast road). Depends how my finances are for petrol then. Lovely drive there though if you pick the right roads. I could suggest a pub in Farnham... None with any decent parking though.

Fleet would be good too, although strictly it's in Hants not Surrey so are we allowed to border-hop???
Anyone know any good pubs with good parking willing to accomodate us regularly, near Farnham/Guildford???? (sorry to other peeps not living so close to Farnham... hope I don't appear too selfish)

I'd be happy to try somewhere new although the Fairmile is pretty good.
A longer drive is always welcome. Are you sure you don't fancy somewhere in Arundel Alex? You must know a cafe that'd be open...
