Scoobycitys xmas type do lol
#1
Hello fellow Scooby lovers.
As some of our scoobycity members know we have been organising a treasure hunt for some time. Well finally everything is in place, the route is mapped out the meal booked and we're ready to tell you all about the Scoobycity xmas event
The Date : Sunday the 17th of November
The Time : Meet 09.30am in PC World car park norwich
Duration : 3 1/2 hrs
End Venue : Meal booked for 1.30pm at the Ffolkes Arms Hotel in Hillington near King's Lynn.
Basically the idea is as follows....
We meet up, pay a fiver per car and then we take down your mileage. We then hand you a sheet of paper with 20-30 questions. We then set you off in 5 minute intervals and its down to you to answer as many questions as possible on your way to the Ffolkes Arms. Each question leads you to the next clue and some directions are given along the way so theres no need to worry if you don't know the area very well. The person who answers the most questions correctly along the way wins the pot and should there be a tie then it will be the person who done it in the least amount of miles.
Most of the questions can be answered without getting out of the car and the route can be done without a map although it would be advisable to use one. (No Sat-Nav systems allowed, he he)
At the Ffokes Arms we will have a carvery meal which will consist of a large selection of starters followed by a choice of two roast meats (or vegitarian option) and another large selection of desserts, coffee and chocolates.
And finally after the meal you will be able to test your knowledge in a Subaru quiz before we head off home.
I'm sure you will agree this will make a great day out for all the family so bring the Wife/girlfriend, kids or even mistress but most importantly bring yourself.
If you would like to come or have any questions please respond on here or contact myself, take a look at the link below
