It's not a legal event!

And it's very likely to be over-run by a silly amount of police.

To be honest Guildford is a bit of a 'no go' area on a Sunday now becuase of the way the police have clamped down.

Even so - there is still usually a hell of a lot of people there.

A work colleague was there not to long ago, and said there was drag racing on a disused road, but one of the drivers did a handbrake turn at the end in the path of the person he was racing!!

Needless to say it ended in tears and a big police presence!

They had a legal cruise just outside Guildford last Saturday because the police have clamped down so tightly on the Sunday night activity.

I got caught up in it all a few months back police everywhere not very nice. I suggest a wide berth or park up and watch from afar...........

Dunk, the guy that told me was the buyer on your old exhaust!!

The legal cruise was up in Brooklands and apparently like most legal cruises was poo!!

There was meant to be a burnout and donut arena, but the council withdrew permission on the day!!! So they carried on anyway!! Funnily enough, the Police were there within the hour!!!

Astraboy, Gossy and myself were at Brooklands and yes it was poo I was a bit annoyed with it because I made alot of effort to get there after my car broke down then the police shut it [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] I did hear that they got their hubcaps and wipers nicked for their trouble though Justice WAS done

i was down Guildford at the legal cruise on sat. Was ok but they found out at the last minutes they couldnt do any burnouts or anything so police ending up coming. Then got a bit stupid as you had your local 16 year olds thinking they were bad chucking windscreen wipers and hub caps at the cops and their cars and it all got a bit boring.

2nd Nov is an illegal cruise. It is held the first sunday every month. My advice, dont go. Used to be a laugh but then a couple of months ago, cops used to turn up with loads of vans etc just pulling people over and saying if you turn up to a cruise again, we will arrest you and take your vehicle. Nothing happens at guildford anymore. You just stand at the side of the road, watching the cars go up and down. There is no drag racing, just people racing each other of the lights, grinning cause they won only to be pulled over by the coppers who wait up ahead.

Its really not worth going.
