Yet again our ramblings have upset Alex...for which I'm sure we all apologise. Sorry m8.
Let's try and keep this one on subject
Saturday 14th....Coopers at 4. REmainder to be decided but probably to involve a drive over to Seafront / Beachy Head / Macs (!!!!)
Who's up for the cup, or has any other suggestions for this meet ?
Oh...and from what the grapevine tells me, there's quite a few cars with new mods which will be ready for next Sat....and ours isn't included in my list of 5 !!!

Glad I thought to check before starting a new post as well.
Weren't we going to meet slightly later this time so certain people who watch 22 men running round a field chasing a little bit of leather can join us.

LOL...it's frightening how often we're on line together !!
I'm positive Mark E will be there too...and let the rest tell us
I thought 4 on the basis of an hour to chat etc, then blast up to Beachy....ok, yeah perhaps a 5 start would be better and then I believe Mark will join us around 7:30...assuming the blues win otherwise he'll no doubt be sulking somewhere in West Sussex

Last meet, as people turned up early, I will do the same, and arrive at 4.30 for anybody wishing to avoid the 5pm rush for the car park.

A new Brighton Scoob???
I might be going over to Eastboune to see ScoobyK one evening this week. But I am a bit knacked so I might give it a miss. Having just spent a week in Devon and Cornwall...
...where they have the most f**king amazing, empty twisty B roads.
Needless to say due to my enthusiasm I had melted my brakes by mid week and had to limp to ATS for a new set of pads and the disks felt a bit warped. And then the fun began again...

Steve Whitehorn - A week in Devon & Cornwall, very nice, me a & the g/f are just about to have a couple of weeks at Croyde Bay, North Devon, taking her car though, much more econ. on fuel than the scoob, but powerfull enough even though its a 1.5 to out accelerate standard 2.0's which really winds them up, and as i'll be driving to the end of the M4 before we swap, should have some fun
Anyway, yes yes, i'm up for a meet, local or if anyone pops into eastbourne then let me know as I can do that too, i'm off work till Friday (and then on hols from Sat! ) so i've plenty of time. If you wanna met in Brigton SteveW then let me know time and place and I should have no probs joining you.

Steve - Yep, the strip sounds fine to me, just let me know what evening (any apart from Friday).
You don't take it out in the rain? Lack of garage means mine goes out in all weathers, and i've only the one car.
I personally think it much more fun in the wet, cos its a giggle watching the 2wd cars that have dreams of being as powerful as the scoobs slipping & sliding trying to keep up
Would be good to see you ScoobyK.
Mark E - I'm free, but I suspect you really wouldn't want my help to fit anything remotely car related If it was dark i'd be the one holding the torch!!!

For sale - 4 pots, discs, pads...20k miles, most of them very relaxed (just a few "hot" miles !!). £350...and Steve W has first refusal. In view of our impending meet on Saturday, I'm offering them to the local guys first (after Steve), and will then post in FOR SALE if no takers.
