Yep, 15th September is OK for me, so let's make that official. Presume date is ok for Dibs, RobW, Mark, Gary and everyone else?

For those of you who went on Cambridge region's Rutland Water Run in April you know that we have some unfinished business
So, we intend to do the final leg of the Run on September 15th, but starting from Brampton Hut on the A1. Please register your interest

I'd completely forgotten about Trax2002! Maybe we could go for the following Sunday, 15th September, but I need to check availability with my Social Secretary

Any chance of making the mid-week meet Thursday 15 or Tuesday 13?
Got the crumblies coming over on Wednesday evening (beginning to sound like Stan now ) and I don't think that they'd be too keen on attending their first ever Scooby meet!

OK - Let's go for this coming Tuesday the 13th for the mid-week meet. S'pose I'd better put do a post for it.
The Rutland run - good work Dr.P. Will you be able to bring the route with you next Tuesday?

Dr. P
I did the run yesterday to check mileages etc. Your new bit is good, although my odometer recorded slightly different mileages (were your wheel/tyre combo as per original spec. when you did the recce?). I suggest people don't stop to re-group on the A14 slip, but just continue on the route - we want to avoid having more than say 4 cars in convoy otherwise the natives may object and it can lead to a "competative edge" creeping in . Also, I had lunch in the Mill in Oundle - very nice but a bit pricey (£21 for two with drinks)and not that big a seating area. So, I suggest we eat at the Brampton Hut place and stop at the Mill for "light refreshments" only
Cheers
