As normal, meet at Newlands Corner off the A25 around 1:30pm.. leave about 2-2:15pm to head over to the Anchor pub by the canal near Wisley off the A3.

Excellent - will be good to see whoever can make it.
Seems regardless of how little say they can make it on this thread, we always get circa 20 cars

Great weather (for those of us that didn't get sunburnt), great meeting, even if we couldn't get any food at the Anchor by the time we got there.
Maybe I'll have a scooby by the next one if I'm lucky...

I know a lovely pub in Cobham that will accomodate the usual sort of numbers, and will serve food right through to 9pm!
Especially if we get there after 2pm, when the luchtime rush has died down.

Did you have the green car, with the new gold wheels and those
mini scoobs?
Anyway, the pub I had in mind was the The Fairmile on the Portsmouth Road, towards Esher. I've spoken to them before and they have no issues with us turning up on a Sunday as long as it's after 2-2.30pm. I think we had 60 people there once!!

Oh yes, those mini scoobies that bounced along the roof. As I said yesterday, have to get one (or two) of those. Where did they come from? I feel a group buy coming on ;-)

i think since alex will not be coming to the meet (might come to the newlands bit) and left me in charge the fairmile sounds like a good change.
if we leave newlands at 2.15 and take the same route as norm but carry on up the a3 to cobham. should get there for 2.45.
i think we should give them a bit of notice that we are coming
the date will be the 11th august.
