Default New performance parts. Who to buy from?

Ok then so I've got a Hawkeye spec c impreza which I've just started the registration process and before it goes on the road I'd like to replace/upgrade the air filter and exhaust to start with.

it's currently got an unknown k&n type after market air filter on which located lowdown in front of the front drivers wheel in the bumper void, (don't like it ) so it needs changing and only want the best really.

The car also has a miltek sports cat fitted but the rest of the exhaust is a trust stainless catback which is a bit battered so hat needs changing too, plus I'd like to have a miltek catback exhaust to match the sports cat,

what brand air induction kits are the most popular? Performance wise and value for money.
and are the miltek catback exhausts worth buying?
What performance company is the best place to buy these items from?

thanks in advance.

Subaru Clinic are getting rid of some Perrin stuff as unfortunately that are discontinuing most pre 2007 parts

Perrin Cold air intake - Normally RRP at £330 now £200. I've bought one myself and waiting to get it fitted. You will pay the same for a short ram intake and this can be used in the same way and not installed in the void.

In regards to exhausts the 2 most talked about would be the Prodrive system, or the Blitz NUR Spec (which sounds awesome but fairly loud)

Not sure where that info comes from? Because its false

I've just checked with them (as i hadn't heard of anything like that and mines an 06) and it's just stock rotation, nothing to do with any change in manufacturing. Keep an eye out for offers as they rotate stock round form time to time.

Info directly from Perrin themselves. And if you check their website the filters don't let you properly select older models. Most older parts now listed in the specials section

+1 for Alyn, always gives great advice, actually knows what he’s talking about and won’t sell you something that you don’t need just to get a sale
