Thanks. After a good clean and light sand I used E-Tech self etching primer (2 coats), E-Tech black alloy wheel paint (3 coats) and E-Tech lacquer (3 coats). Looks a lot better IMO and that's nearly all the chrome gone!

I tidied the engine bay up a little today after fitting my Perrin radiator shroud, RallyTech bolt kit (Really disappointed as loads missing) and intercooler cover. Well worth the effort!

Was it you that was looking for instructions to fit the bolt kit ? Did you see the pic i put up ?
You missed the bonnet struts and the wing fixings.
I used the leftovers to do under the bootlid too , tail lights , gas struts , spoiler.

Yes. I used your pictures for reference, thanks, as Rallytech never bothered replying to my emails. I have none of the medium / large bolts left and so there are loads missing, though I have loads of the small ones left which I will finish off later. I bought the kit from a guy on here so I'm not sure if the issue is with Rallytech or him.

Also one of the battery stays us nearly double the length of the original.

Think the kit it very generic , i had a set on my bugeye and had the same issue. You seem to have too many of some and not enough of others. Like i had enough short ones to do boot but no big ones for my Intercooler (which i would've like to change).

I bought a newage STI battery clamp off a breaker and told him i didn't need the fixing rods. Luckily he sent them anyway as my standard ones were too short.
