Default Opinions on Atermarket Door Mirrors & Wings

Hi,
just wanting peoples opinions on some aftermarket mirrors that are fitted to a recent STi TypeR I have bought. My Ideal Type-R would be a blue V5/6 with all factory stickers / wheels etc. This one however is modded so i've been told.

Mirrors personally I am not too keen on them but would like to hear other peoples views. Keep or remove?
Also car has front wider wings fitted (22b style) but rear 1/4 are original so look a bit silly IMO. I am however in 2 minds about buying widearch 1/4 panels and doing a 22b replica (although not 100% sure as not keen on replicas if not done right).
Or shall I just remove and put standard wings on as to be honest I prefer the 'original' look of Type-Rs.

Oh and the roof scoop will be taken off for defo as long as its not too much hassle.

Cheers
Raf

Mirrors you can get away with as they flow with the car, however the wings I would go back to standard. The 22B replica is hard to get right and in all honesty I prefer the S6 wrc rear arches as they are cut much higher and the car just sits better as below:

Really not sure off the top of my head, the only place I can find for supply for defo is aerosim but they are not cheap ($4500 for the CF one, from memory the fibre one was $2500) and thats before customs

Cheers for that. Food for thought Got a couple of months before it arrives so see what it looks like in the flesh maybe before deciding...

I'd be interested in the mirrors if you do swap them for OE items.

Bet you would never see the underside of a UK car looking like that, are you getting it undersealed?

How much did she cost, if you don't mind me asking?

Hi Matty I have bought a set of standards so these may be for sale.
If interested drop me a PM.

I am hoping to get it undersealed but going to use the clear stuff that you can get nowadays as I hate the black waxoyl / shutz stuff. May be paint the underneath blue first or something then a clear coat of underseal.

I am a bit p'd off as upon closer inspection today I have noticed the wheel arch's have been rolled and although a tidy job i'm not a fan of them.

fiited with HKS EVC and a HKS 'Circuit Attack Counter'

Various under body braces (look to be custom type H braces x2) and one on the inside along the floor just behind the front seats.

Booked in next week at RH for a check over to see whats what and then hopefully map to run on V-Power.. until then its parked up.

Raf.
p.s Mods possibly move thread to gallery section as will update pics as and when.
