Default Highly modified forged classic for breaking

ENGINE PRICE REDUCED £SOLD
The time has come to break my beloved classic that is running 376bhp at a safe 1.3 bar boost as mapped by the late JGM.
I have owned the car for 12 years and carried out all the mods myself but it doesn't get enough use and the bodywork is starting to let it down.
I rebuilt the engine on 62k miles having only removed it for an oil leak , ran it in properly for over 3k miles and it is now on 68k miles.
I spent over 2k on parts alone , spec is roughly;
Wiseco 92.5mm pistons
ACL bearings
Eagle rods
All new genuine gaskets and seals
Wiseco metal head gaskets
Arp head stud kit
New case bolts
RCM new modded oil pump
RCM timing belt slipper
Gates racing belt recently fitted
All new pulleys and tensioner
New water pump
Etc etc

The engine cases were rebored and cleaned by Julian Godfrey Engineering . I then did a dry build to check oil clearances with plastigauge . All built to Subaru spec. and ran in for over 3k miles on standard turbo at actuator pressure , standard ECU and injectors with many oil changes .I then upgraded everything and had it mapped by Simon Roe at SRR who said it had great potential and the engine was smooth and quiet but my clutch slipped so we settled for 376bhp at 1.3bar boost.
The car is still in use and the idea is to keep it running until the engine is sold so it can be seen, heard and driven. I will then put up a list of everything else on the car for sale.
I think a fair price is around £SOLD for the long engine but I am open to sensible offers. This includes mildly ported heads , timing covers on , under drive pulley ,oil pan on so ready for ancillaries etc
There are some pictures on my profile including some of the soon to be available other parts.
Once sold the engine will be removed ready for collection.

A list will be going up very soon but all the parts are still on the car so it can be driven until engine is sold . I was going to wait until they were removed and take pictures and list all items so as not to mess anybody around waiting for bits. There are however some pictures on my public profile for the time being . Hope that helps.

Just a quick update and to answer a few questions , the build was based around my UK turbo and as such the cylinder heads are the UK/WRX ones which were more than capable for this project and still stay on power to around 7k rpm with the UK cam profiles ( see rolling road printout in my profile pics.) . Any questions please feel free to ask.

Just reduced price as need to break soon and get parts listed.
Also for sale is my P1 gearbox with matching diff. , rear drive shafts , also will chuck in P1 prop. , and P1 quick shift linkage if needed.
I stripped , cleaned and inspected box , rebuilt with new centre diff bearing and have used redline shockproof oil . Comes with rear shafts and stud fitted for starter so full conversion for pre 99 cars .
Box is still in car and car still drivable at present so feel free to come and see in operation before removal.
After £SOLD collected for full kit .
This makes a massive difference to a UK cars gearing and is the strongest classic gearbox.

What are the gear ratios like compared to the UK turbo 2000 gears?

1st to 4th are closer ratio and fifth is a longer gear . You basically get quicker acceleration and a higher top speed.
After initial fitting I was getting upto speed so much quicker on acceleration and having to change gear sooner. With my set up , turbo etc , my car is easier to keep on boost now and definitely feels faster . There are a lot of P1's running around 500bhp on these boxes so for my target of 400bhp it was the best option without going 6 speed.
