Crikey - got a pic of the front wheel side on in its arch?
I don't mate, but I'll get you one.
The wheel is a 8.75 with 265 tyre, and I think the offset might be ET20 with no spacers on the front. The rear has spacers.
I have some more spacers for the front, but would need to change/chop the studs which I'm not going to do at the moment, and to be honest the wheel sat slightly in the arch might save the paint work!
Abbas or Don may be able to answer this; the brackets on the end of my Sti lower flexible bar seem to be back to front compared with any Web pics of the same. I haven't offered it up yet.
Alsorts of reasons for different situations. However for me, to filll the arches, more rubber to the ground, better stance and less of a need to use spacers if I go slightly larger with the right offset.
thanks Robert, i had read the numerous pages regarding the engine, hope thats not the case.gonna have a diagnostic test done today to rule out anything sensor wise. see where i go from there!
cheers
steve
had diagnostic done showed up rear oxygen sensor readings were all over the place, was informed could be the cat or the sensor and would possibly cause the intermitent idle and slight miss?

They even point forward in the parts database...............

Hi bud i have a similar issue with my 2009 STI. I have owned the car for 2 yrs now and bought it totally standard with 42000 miles 1 owner full sub history.
I notice after aweek of driving the car there was a slight miss at 2900 rpm. The first thing i thought of was piston gone south.
The car never used oil or water and compression test was all ok. 2yrs on and the car has now 52000 miles with full exhuast system , rcm fuel pump , perrin cold air induction kit and remapped by Bob Rawle to 360bhp and it still has a slight miss lol but pulls like a fecking train.
So dont think the worse and just drive it and enjoy it and remember if it breaks it can always be fixed.

I'll take a comparable photo tomorrow ; I tried to unbolt them to turn the brackets around, thinking that's how the breakers reassembled them, but it all seems oem. Any way, I couldn't loosen them.

yep called the 'GR stumble' if you Google it. I'll be able to tell you soon if replacing the fuel regulator & dampers sorts it, which is meant to be cause. I've a perrin fuel reg to go on mine when I get the time

Planning to do this myself, but at the end of the day it's a map that needs more detail . And the only mapper who consistently avoids this issue is not in England. Or get parallel rails.
They all do that after they are mapped by Bob Rawle
My car had no stumble stutter or hestition before he mapped mine
Every car on here mapped by him has a stutter
It’s a mapping issue
the stumble isn't only a mapping issue, it's also a lot down to how the rails are setup as the hatches had quite a different setup from earlier cars. It can be tuned out a little bit but at the end of the day your trying to tune around a mechanical issue and some cars have it worse than others especially when things like the fuel pump have been changed. Cobb sell a "gr stumble fix" kit which is basically a regulator from a forester STI/USDM hawk STI and some adjustment in 2 of the map tables.

You ever going to fix your car or just keep moaning about it

My car has been mapped by Bob and there's no stumble
Have you got any pics of your sti front lower chassis bar, Abbas? I thought you had one? Cheers
Sorry hedgecutter, I haven't had it in the air since you mentioned it. I do have the below picture from when I bought it:
If that's not close enough let me know and I'll get under her

Mine was always in it even before Bob Rawle mapped it ? So i don't know who's giving you all this information on Bob's mapping

Flanged Pilot bolt 01008200 has many uses and has replaced, overtime, many other applications.
For example
If Subaru UK are out of stock or item is on back order - yes it can take upto 3 weeks for their next order to come from Japan.
4 days from RHDJapan is pushing it, although not impossible, as first they have to go and buy the item for you (as like any Japanese shipping agent they won't have the item in stock) Maybe 4 days from when they ship the item depending upon customs this end.
In reverse I had to return a large suspension item to Japanparts for return to STi - Item picked up from my home by Parcelforce on a friday morning, item was at Japanparts warehouse for first thing their Monday morning. - now that's service
Sorry, I meant Japanparts. 4 days from ordering to delivery , plus no duty!!
That flange bolt is used in over 1300 Subaru applications since 2001, unbelievable that Subaru UK don't hold a stock
