Default better than a bose sound touch 300

Ok guys I need help I’ve always wanted the bose soundtouch 300 and was waiting for my 40th birthday to treat myself as it has Bluetooth connectivity, wireless and sounds fantastic for films

BUT!! My little bro just bought one on Friday before I did wounded!

So guys I’m after advice do I still go ahead and buy it?

Or is there anything out there that will be above the bose 300 my budget is about £2000

Hope there’s someone on here that knows bout this stuff as I don’t
only seen it at the bose store at Trafford centre and fell in love with it been waiting over 8months to buy it but I’m alittle lost now the youngest has bought it

That bose300 is only about 5-600£.
Have a look at the sonus stuff they have better sound quality imo.
But imo a sound bar is nothing compared to a full av set up inc subs etc for the low deeps when watching movies.

Ah, I thought you just meant the sound bar, not a package.
I'm running a BK electronics sub that make components for REL and others. Cut out the middle man etc.

That package is decent enough if that's what you want, or as said look at sonos systems

If you’re after a great sound for the tv then I’d go separates - soundbars are generally ok but not great, and a wireless subwoofer is a nightmare (will keep chopping signal).

I’d go for B&W mini theatre with the pv1d sub - pair to a Yamaha av amp (richer sounds usually good deals) - you can control them from your phone. Likely just over budget but sound terrific. Sonos isn’t really for tv surround imo.

Good luck
