Does anyone have any info on this. When it comes out?is it just a cleaner fuel or does it carry a higher octane rating.Proberly gonna be more expensive at the pumps though
It's not quite the same - VPower used to contain 8% alcohol, whereas Nitro is only 6% (based on the readings from my flex fuel sensor). I'm sure it's still 99 RON, but they have definitely changed the mix.
No, that's unlikely. If it's still sold as 99 RON (I've not checked) then it will be 99 RON. I'm not sure of how ethanol contributes to RON, if at all, but it certainly adds oxygen so is a good way to get power (which is why we all like adding methanol )
FFS when will they stop with the bullsh*t and just say EXACTLY what their "magic chemical" ingredients are.
"Cleaning molecules"
"Dynaflex"
Ffs.
I'm using ESSO super these days in everything, as it's the only fuel maker to honestly state the ethanol content of their fuel in which region...https://www.esso.co.uk/fuels-faqs
If V power "cleaned" your engine, then why does it do this to the carbs on my Kawasaki just after 3 months to when the were last stripped and cleaned
Ethanol corrosion. These were spotless 3 months ago.
