Not been on here for a while but I was hoping to draw attention to and shame the ****** who nicked my STI fog light covers last night from Wath, Rotherham.

12.45 AM (25th August 2017) a car leads an Impreza to our house and indicates to show where mine is. Someone then comes back between 2 and 3 and nicks the covers.

Impreza - presumed to be a badged up WRX. Large spoiler, black wheels, black bonnet. Roof may be black too? I'm waiting for CCTV from others so hope to be able to provide better images soon (and hopefully a reg).


******, grey hoodie up and shorts on. Apparently came back around 2am and did three laps of the estate before nicking them.


Currently waiting for a call back from Subaru regarding cost of replacements, they were quite reasonable when I bought some for my Blob years ago. No other damage apparently on the car.

I should add that I bought these new from the Subaru main dealers and paid them to spray them at their bodyshop to perfectly match my crystal grey hawk WRX.


Sold the car a year ago and they've sat under my desk since then.

I've just ordered some from Subaru (prior to seeing this), they should be pre painted and stickered up. I'll bear it in mind if these go missing too though

What a cliche of Subaru owning chav scum....the hoodie was a given obviously, but you'd think the scumbag would perhaps think, 'fellow scooby owner innit..nuff wespek bwuv'..and leave your car alone..

You may well see him or the car around again....That would be interesting..I'd take them back....I don't condone violence, so if it happened to me, there's no way that i'd smash him in the mouth over and over, then drag his leg across the kerb before stamping his knee backwards...taking his car keys, phone, wallet would be dead easy then..Which I'd donate to charity...

Trouble is if the car was on your drive he knows where you live..so if you happened upon the young gentleman in question, you could leave no clue in his mind between the savage beating that could allegedly take place, and said theft of the light covers...

 

Looks like someone wants to nick my car
I was still out back with a mate from Uni at 1.45am when he heard a noise, we went out front to look and seconds later a car parked opposite floored it and sped off. F'ing *******s!! I've tidied the garage and it's in there now and blocked in by his car.

Be very careful there mate..I'd be tempted to move it to another location or stay up every night waiting...If they've sped off rather than casually drive off, in my world, that shows a lack of testicular fortitude...

 

The car last night was YP11 JVA, silver Ford Focus.

 

Christ man. That was lucky!

 

Just to update in case said ****** sees this (which bearing in mind how heavily modified the WRX was I think is likely).

Police have been made aware of both incidents. I phoned 101 and reported it and the next day someone came to view the CCTV. They have notified other officers about all three cars and have sent around the details of the Focus to keep an eye out.
