The discs & callipers will fit behind your 18" wheels don't worry. You just may need a small spacer between the disc and wheel. You won't know till you try to fit them.
You won't need a Leepu special wheel spacer to get them to fit!
It's not too bad. £100 for the rolling tool itself and you need a rubber & plastic mallet and a professional heat gun. Apart from that, some touch up paint and a lot of time!
Nice one. You won't regret it. MASSIVE improvement over standard.
Not really any problems with painting them. Obviously don't paint the inside of the calliper if possible or the piston.
Take care to use a proper brake pipe spanner when undoing the brake lines as you may end up burring the fitting otherwise. Also take care to not over torque the mounting bolts, the brake lines or the bleed nipples into the alloy calliper. This can be done easily. Make sure the mounting bolts are threading in easily by hand first to ensure they are not cross threaded and use a little copper slip grease on the bolt threads.
Have fun!

I wanna paint the calipers red, so is their any do's and dont's I need to know about before painting ?.
Also in regards to spacers. Is there a difference between say a £20 spacer to a £65 one, or are they generally all the same ?.
Excellent news the ones for sale here got sold for £400 no discs or pads as they were shot.. you've got yourself a bargain bro
Paint the rears gold instead mate keep the brembo's genuine as they are IMO
Stay away from spacers if you can and instead of buying braided brake lines get yourself the tegiwa brakestopper very effective mod makes braking much better I've just put one on mine
I am pleased zany must admit . they do look good in gold, but I love red calipers aswell haha. I'll see when they turn up buddy.
argh ok, I'll take a look at them mate. Thanks for that.
in regards to that spacer. I'm hope they will fit without anyway. But if it come to I'll have to because I don't wanna change the wheels to be perfectly honest mate.
Eventually I reckon I'll get some rear brembos anyway in the near future. Might aswell have matching front and rear. Apparently Godspeed sell a conversion kit for this ?
I did what Zany suggested and just re-painted my rear callipers gold. Much better idea.
Also bear in mind if you fit wheel spacers you may also need to press in some longer wheel studs.
Not worth upgrading the rears to Brembo callipers. Most of the braking is done on the front and it makes little difference to upgrade the rear. They are not as straight forward to fit either.
I'll definitely take your comments into consideration boys cheers. That was naother thing I was gonna look into, just getting the rears maybe reconditioned and sprayed to make them look cleaner.
looking at the front calipers there's a fair bit of space between them still.
Almost forgot, you'll have to remove the disc backing plate from the hub as it will be too small and in your way. Not a problem running without a backing plate.
Did they really fit piston & slider callipers to the hatch? That's terrible. I was assuming that you were buying these for a newage WRX car as an upgrade.
They should still fit. As far as I'm aware the mountings are the same. Seen people fitting the later hatch STI brembo brakes to newage cars.
