I got mine from a forum member.

if you look on ebay they sometimes cup up but a good set will cost you a few hundred pounds at least and obviously if you have discs with them as well maybe more

just a question of scouring or even looking on facebook as there is a hatchback group on there

Massive improvement mate. Better braking at corners and roundabouts. Hardly have to touch the pedal to be honest. fitted some braided brake lines aswell and I'm trying to find a brake stop but can't find one anywhere for a hatch

They are like night and day compared to standard WRX brakes. Very good upgrade. I have done braided lines and brake stopper too on all my cars and they do also help.

I guess I'll have to keep looking for a brake stop. Is it something I can do myself if I find one ?. I will replace the rears also but I'll save up some dosh first befor I do that.

Mine are 18's mate. I think that if they were 17's I may of struggles to be honest. I'd say there's probably half an inch maybe little less spare with them on.

Ah! The screenshot you posted of the place selling them said 17" so I thought that's what you had. Makes more sense now

Agreed. I've recently put brembos on the front and rear on my blob wagon, doing some track time next month so hope to really see the difference then!

By the way, have you managed to kerb your new wheels already? Or was that photo of someone else's car?

They were like that when I bought the car 9mths ago. Need to get the rim repaired but haven't got round to it.

I'm looking at £500 for the rears because the rears of the hatch Are they only direct fit onto mine.

Talking about brembos.

I'm looking to put a kit of sti brembos in my wrx hawkeye, but my wheels are a set of Oz Prodrive in 18x7,5 and ET53.

Did someone put this brembos with this wheels? I don't know if they will clear the brakes or scrap with the wheel.

Post a pic up of your current calipers and wheels with the clearance you have. With them being 18's they may fit. Mine are 18" jdm's and they cleared, but not by much though.

worse case, you can pop a small slip-on space in there. Perhaps a 3mm or a 5mm.
