Default Imobiliser code.

I have just purchased a bugeye wrx wagon and I am having problems with the imobilser. the keyfob button is just about knackered and I wasn't given the keypad code for the imobiliser. I spoke to a main dealer and they said a code was never registered for my car. Can I put a code into the keypad and if so is there a master code?

As long as your keyfob still works and you have the Sigma M30 (Blue fob not the buttons on the keys) you can reprogram a new security code without needing the old one. Instructions (but you will need a working alarm fob):

You can but you will either need to get it done at a Subaru dealer or find a specialist who can code it for you, that is if it's connected. Press the keypad and see if it flashes.

PM sent by the way...
