Default 2008 Hatch Alarm

Bit of a random one this, yesterday at work (while in a secure compound) the alarm on by hatch went off. Did it again last night at home too. When i unlock it I get 3 bleeps and then the light next to the temp/mpg/time display flashes 16 times when i turn the key in the ignition.

Tried the manual but can't find anything to say what it means and a good google has come up fruitless ... any ideas or advice?

Cheers

Chris

you need to move the GPS antenna for the tracker off the sigma unit and lower the sensitivity of the unit slightly, It's a known issue

Awesome, cheers, guessing it's that bloody fly that won't disappear then!?! Argh!

Is that in the normal manual? Couldn't find anything yesterday when I looked.

I've got the separate user hand book for the alarm system.

Ah, fair play, cheers for that. Nothing happened last night so fingers crossed the fly is gone. Hope it's not in hibernation while the car is cold and then once i get in and fire the heaters on it warms up and starts flying around ... will see how it goes

Hi all, I have the same issue with the alarm going off on my 2008 sti hatch, only seems to happen on a night when it's frosty?? Any ideas what can be done to stop this happening is it a sensor or something that can be switched off?
