Default Auto Lock Doors?

Apologise as I dont have a manual so can't check this....

But is there an auto lock feature on our cars? Mine is an 03 STI. If there is, could someone show/write me a guide please?

Thanks a lot

If you want a copy of the alarm manual or programming codes you can download them from here

Also, after reading the document......

To disarm the immobiliser, I turn the key, and then press the transmitter button, which then allows me to start the car.
This is only random when I need to press the button. Most of the time I can just start the car by turning the key, without pressing any buttons etc. Is there a reason why its random? I'd rather have to press the transmitter button every time.

Cheers

When you unlock the car with the remote, it disables the immobiliser for around 30 seconds. So if you start straight away, it will, if not it won't.
Not sure if thats a feature you can change.

That feature is part of the thatcham criteria and thus cannot be changed.
