Remote key not working

Remote key not working
Hi Guys
I have an 2003 Blobeye STI which came with 2 Alpha Corp keys.
They both worked fine for a while then one stopped working AT WORK!
had to get wife to bring other key, Swapped batteries but its NEVER worked since then.
I have tried recoding it and also recoding the touch pad thing but get no joy at all. its a ticking time bomb coz when battery runs out on this one I am stuffed.
Cant anyone help at all, What would you guys do ?
