Sigma alarm broken??
Hi all,
I have had my WR1 now for several months and loved every minute until my alarm decided to stop working!!!
I armed it as usual, but now unable to disarm with either key fob or keypad. (I have the original 4 digit number and can only assume its not been changed)
Replaced key fob battery and checked cars battery but still no joy!
Any ideas what's wrong?
Car is now in my garage and unable to be moved quietly!!
Any advice or ideas would be much appreciated!!
Paul

Well today's update is slightly better!
I unlocked the door with the key, then just before I was to open the door and get deafened, I pressed the button on my spare remote to find its now locking, unlocking and arming and disarming the alarm system!!
Original key still not working sadly, and neither is my pin code as tried to sync both keys, seems the original code I have may have been changed.
I believe Subaru can reset the pin as long as I can disarm the system which I now can!!
I think the keys became out of sync and the code had been changed by a previous owner. Trip to a dealer coming up I guess.

Hi all update of alarm problem!
Yesterday my spare key operated the alarm system, good news!!
I then tried disarming with code with no joy. Assumption is code has been changed. Luckily, as I could disarm the system I managed to override the code with a generic code found on forums, then reprogrammed a new code, phew!!
I have now managed to re-program both keys also, so with new batteries all fully functioning again.
Moral of my pains? If your keys disarm the system, double you have the correct code. If not, change it before you can't if your keys become inoperative or lost!!! This should avoid the cost of a new alarm!!!!
Many thanks for the advice mr toad master, much appreciated!!!
