How much for various Cat1 alarms?

Thinking of a Clifford Concept 600, how much do you pay for those? Halfords say £700, but presumably others are cheaper, though I know you need to get a decent install.
Also, how much for the 500, and 300, and non Clifford alternatives you might like to suggest.
It's only for my GL, so perhaps the 600 is a bit over the top, but I'd like the peace of mind. Especially as the previous keeper had an attempted theft, presumably the scum mistook it for a turbo
