RB5, no alarm code and only 1 working fob, what to do?
i recently got myself a second hand rb5 and whilst i have 2 sets of keys and keyfobs, only 1 of the keyfobs works correctly by unlocking the car. however both sets keys of start the engine fine..
reading through the paperwork, if i understand it right, i can reprogram the not working one (the light flashes when i push the button so its not out of juice) if i have the alarm/immobiliser code.
problem is i don't have that, so what are my options? can a dealer reset the code for me and/or reprogram both the keyfobs so they work? how much is this likely to cost me?
i also found this: https://www.scoobynet.com/showpost.p...75&postcount=2 but i'm afraid of messing it up especially as i can't find the code anywhere to use just in case it all goes wrong!
