Question

Hi everyone,

I suspect this can be done but just wish to check with you all in advance.

Can the Sigma alarm be set to automatically lock the doors either when you turn the ignition or when the car moves off? Being security concious and having a young family I feel it will be a good security application which (unlike me) it would never forget to do.

Thanks in advance for replies.

Edited because I can't spell!!

Steve

Steve,

Yes it can (assuming it's the same as my MY02 WRX), I don't have the manual here but it's in there. I have it set that way as well, very wise. It will lock when the ignition key it turned and then unlock when the engine is switched off.

If it's the same as my01 you need to turn the key without starting and then push the immobilisor button, then press 4 on the keypad and turn the ignition on. Turn the ignition off and the next time you start up it should lock the doors.

Steve \ Neil,

Thank you very much for responding. I was sure it was possible. I shall now make it so.

Yes it works, amongst lots of other features which you'll find out about when you read the manual
