Has anyone else got the M99T2 Thatcham Category 2-1 Alarm Upgrade ?

I am wondering if it is possible to enable bleeps when arming or disarming the alarm as I have to look at the indicators as I walk away to check.

Yeah, I have and I too would like to know.. I tried to get hold a manual and I received an A4 photocopy, which I never read.. I'll see if it tells me and let you know..

 

I got a few faxed sheets from MetaSystems, that talk about reprogramming the alarm's functions - one of the functions is audible something or other.....I've not tried it yet.

The problem is when it goes into program mode you program one function after another - I only want to change one function but have no idea what the others are already set at, so I'm bothered I'll screw it up entirely.

Any chance of scanning the docs or faxing them over ?

I'll check them when I get home to ensure it's the same model etc.

And see how well they scan - they're already rough fax.

I've got the same alarm too and an imobilizor to go with it. The problem I find with it is that it doesn't detect someone who is approaching the car. I parked my car up in town only to have it scratched by some w4nkerz. Is there a way to link this with a dual zone radar and a pager. Thanks..
