Default Sigma question!!

I need to re route the cable for my sigma siren, can I just cut it or do I need to trace it back to the controller to unplug it? If I cut it will soldering be ok to re connect it up?
Thanks
Ricey

If I was you I would trace it back reconnect, u carry the risk of blowing you alarm when cutting through the wire. the box is more than likely to be under your steering colume.
