Morning guys. I went to unlock my car today (with the fob) to get no reaction. I then turned to unlocking the car with the key only for the drivers door to be the only door to unlock?! When I put the key in the ignition I had get no lights on my dash or anything, not even the little red led light!

Now the car has been sitting around for more than 10days as ive been hit with illness, but this does sound like a battery issue. However, I only replaced the battery less than a month ago!

Could it be i have another duff battery? Or perhaps something is draining the battery??!

Classic dead battery. If the battery is getting no charge from the alternator all you've done is exhaust the new battery until there's nothing left. Best get the alternator checked with a multimeter failing that jump the car and see if it will hold charge from a good run

Did a check on the alternator and it's fine.. Did manage to get it running from a jump start and kept my foot on the revs for a good 10mins, but it immediately konked out when I took my foot off the revs?! It looks like it's a drained battery issue, and I think it's the alarm that's doing it.

Any advice on what to do next would be greatly appreciated.
