Alarm beeps

I have a 2001 bugeye wrx uk spec. Is there a way to switch on the beeps so it makes a noise when I activate and deeeeeectivat it?

Get in the car and turn the ignition fully on, press remote button, then on the keypad press 7 and then turn the key to off again.

Get out car and arm the alarm, you should have a chirp now.
