Default Sigma Alarm issue

Hi Guys,

Had an interesting issue last night when the keyfob on our (2000 - W Reg) Impreza Sport refused to disarm the immobiliser - I'm not sure what model alarm is fitted but it is a Sigma. We have two Sigma branded fobs, black ultra sonic sensors fitted at the top of the front pillars and a keypad glued to the top right of the windscreen. We were parked next to a Police station (I've heard of tetra masts interfering) but the car still will not de-immobilise even when towed home (thank you Mr RAC).

Before you ask the obvious, no I don't have the code for the alarm! - So any ideas of where to start or who to call to help? We are based in Littlehampton West Sussex.

Hi,

Guessing (hopefully) by now you managed to solve your problem. I am having the same problem, only intermittently. What's the solution?

Thanks in advance,

Ade.

Ours is all sorted, it was the interference from the mast but it scrambled the keyfob - when we found the spare it worked perfectly and we re-programmed the keypad code (to one we knew!) and re-paired the other remote, no problems since but haven't used that car park again!

You can reprogramme with a working fob - I can't find the instructions that I had on my PC but I think I have a hard copy which I'll dig out tonight.
